Privacy Policy

BatchBrief is a batch work-assignment tool. Assigners create a workspace, add items, and invite teammates (receivers). Each receiver sees only the items assigned to them. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use BatchBrief at batchbrief.com.

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account data. Your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider). We use your email for sign-in, account recovery, and important service messages.
• Workspace data. Workspace names, items, assignees, statuses, notes, links, and any other content you or your teammates enter. This content belongs to your workspace.
• Usage and technical data. Basic logs such as request timestamps and error information to keep the service running and secure.
• Billing data. If you subscribe to Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. We store subscription status and billing references — not your full card number.

• To create your account and keep you signed in.
• To store and show your workspace content to authorised users in that workspace.
• To process subscriptions and send billing-related emails.
• To respond to support requests and fix problems.
• To prevent abuse and protect the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models.

BatchBrief relies on a small set of service providers:

• Supabase — handles sign-up, sign-in, and database storage for accounts and workspace data.
• Stripe— processes Pro subscription payments. Card and billing details are sent directly to Stripe. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosts the BatchBrief web application.

Each provider receives only the data needed for its role. We do not use advertising networks or behavioural tracking pixels.

BatchBrief uses session cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in while you use the app. These are necessary for the service to work.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers such as Google Analytics.

You can export your workspace data as a CSV from Settings at any time. To delete your workspace and associated data, email privacy@batchbrief.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my workspace.” We will confirm when deletion is complete. Deletion is permanent.

Downgrading from Pro to Free does not delete your workspace data.

BatchBrief is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. For important changes, we will notify account holders by email when practical.
